Description
State-of-the-art measurement system, SNAP(Sonic Nozzle Auto Prover) designed to automate and simplify the proving of gas meters. Fully automated proving process and streamlined data collection. The SNAP uses signal input by optical sensor and optionally it can use image signals and pulse signals to determine meter test volume. Sonic nozzle system(SonicFlowTM) provides the volume measurement standard(the mass flow rate is first measured by measuring stagnation pressure and temperature at the upstream of the sonic nozzles and the gas volume is then measured) and is used in combinations to create various flow rates between(0.016~7 m3/h for Small Model and 10~160 m3/h for Large Model). All sonic nozzles are calibrated against KRISS(Korea's NMI)'s Master Bell Prover. The calibration of all sonic nozzles, sensors and the Master Bell Prover are traceable to NIST. On the sonic nozzle auto provers, probes are mounted at critical locations in accordance with ASME/ANSI standards to measure pressure and temperature. And the software uses all sensor values to calculate nozzle volume and meter proof.
The automated system coupled with software ensures twice as fast processing of data, calculation and ouput with statistical management functions as existing provers.

As standard, the automatic sonic nozzle provers are delivered with 1 year of warranty.(Air Supply System is not included)
